A little bit about me

Joel was born in Bacolod City, Phillippines. He is married to Josephine Romasanta, has four grown sons, and 3 grandchildren.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Science in Commerce from the University of La Consolacion, Bacolod City, Philippines.

Joel has over 23 years of experience in financial management in both the Philippines and Canada, and over 14 years as an insurance executive in some of Canada’s leading financial institutions and brokerage firms.

Joel is active in the Filipino community in Canada, having served as President of “Ang Negrosanon” in North America from 2006-2008, and continues to be a lifetime adviser and member to the organization. Joel is an active member of his church community by belonging to the choir, and leading and participating in courses for parishioners.

He is currently licensed as a responsible funeral prearrangement planning advisor helping individual and families to make decisions with least anxiety and grief due to a personal loss of loved ones.
